How long does an house refurbishment and extension project take?

"It depends what level of service you are looking for. Short concept studies and feasibility studies can be completed in one to two months whereas a large new build house or whole house refurbishment can take up to a year before works starts on site.  

This is to allow time not only to listen, to design, to consider and work hard to get the best design for the budget, but also to allow for planning determination (minimum of 8 weeks) and tender review and negotiation prior to works start on site (can be one month) .  A whole house refurbishment with extension can take 10-12 month from concept design, planning permission, technical design and tender and approximately 10-12 months on site.  We will provide you with a detailed programme bespoke to your project in line with your needs.
